Time Out Chicago chose our Fries as one of the 100 best eats of 2009

FRIES: Wiener and Still Champion Gus Paschalis deep-fries everything here—pickles, gyros, bacon, corn dogs. But he double-fries his potatoes, which gives them a dark-golden crust and a fluffy interior. Paschalis also offers a handful of tempting sauces to go with the fries but, really, the only enhancement these things need is a little bit of salt. Read more: 100 Best Eats of 2009
